ST Segment Elevation suggestive of Injury

What Is It?

An abnormal ST segment, which is higher than usual. ST segment elevation may be observed with healthy hearts; however, it may also indicate damage to the heart muscle, which would require immediate treatment.

Additional Information

If there is any suggestion, such as chest pain, breathlessness, nausea or sweating then this is associated with an evolving heart attack and emergency help should be sought.
