What Is It?

Extra heart beats originating from more than one location within the atria.

Additional Information

This condition can be benign in nature, even if associated with “thumping” or other features. Sometimes it may be associated with the start of another abnormal rhythm known as atrial fibrillation It may also be associated with chronic lung disease or digoxin toxicity.

Treatment Options

It may also be associated with certain trigger factors, which when avoided will reduce the incidence or frequency of the events. Investigation is worthwhile to exclude important conditions and the MHM 100 can then be used to follow its progress.
