Who Should Use It
The MHM 100 and Medick Personal Heart Reporting Service allows you to get early warning of any changes to your heart’s rhythm, secure in the knowledge that any potentially serious problems should be detected and reported so you can get appropriate advice and treatment.
The MHM 100 and Medick Personal Heart Reporting Service is particularly useful if you fit within the following categories, as health professionals agree that frequent monitoring is important:
- have a family history of heart attacks or strokes or are being treated for a heart condition
- have any conditions that put you at risk for heart problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol
- have already had a heart attack
- regularly experience symptoms suggestive of poor heart function e.g. dizziness, palpitation, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, weakness or excessive sweating. Please note that if you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you should first discuss them with your Doctor.
Even if you do not fit into any of these categories, the Medick Personal Heart Reporting Service allows you to get on with your life, secure in the knowledge that any potentially serious problems may be reported enabling you to take appropriate action.
