On what basis have conditions been divided into each category?

Where available, the classification of each category has been based on international guidelines used in clinical practice by bodies such as the AHA, ACC and ESC and approved by our medical advisors. The Medick Personal Heart Reporting Service provides an overview from trained Cardiology experts who make a clinical judgement when deciding upon the level of report generated.

Will this ECG monitoring system pick up all conditions relating to the heart?

It is possible that this type of test will not pick up every heart-related problem, for instance, it is possible that certain problems with the blood supply to the arteries of the heart may not be detected by the monitor. It is of course also possible that abnormalities, particularly rhythm abnormalities, will be present but not occur during the given test period. We will always advise the user to seek the advice of their GP if they experience any sustained or increasing levels of discomfort, even if they receive a green report.
