Healthantec and the Medick brand operate in association with a panel of specialist cardiologists who have been involved in the development of the Medick Personal Heart Reporting Service from the very beginning. The panel has been consulted on all clinical aspects of ECG monitoring to ensure that the highest standards are applied to our service. The key members of panel are:
Professor Brian Glenville MSFRCS
Brian is a highly-regarded cardio-thoracic surgeon currently practicing in Jerusalem and formerly at Harley Street, Wellington Hospital and St Mary’s hospital in London. He is internationally recognised for his work in the introduction of new surgical procedures and has considerable expertise in both invasive and non invasive surgical techniques. Brian has been the lead advisor in the development of the MHM 100 and is the chair of the medical advisory team.
Dr Wyn Davies
Dr Wyn Davies was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at St. Mary’s Hospital, London in 1991 where he established its department of cardiac electrophysiology. He is currently the Honorary Treasurer of the British Cardiac Society and President of the European Cardiac Arrhythmia Society.
Professor John Camm
Professor Camm graduated from Guy's Hospital, London and pursued a career in Cardiology at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. In 1986 he moved to the British Heart Foundation Chair of Clinical Cardiology at St. George's University of London. Professor Camm is Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences and the Division of Cardiological Sciences and is past Chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. George's University of London. Professor Camm is particularly interested in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac arrhythmias and implantable devices for rhythm control. He is past Chairman of the European Society of Cardiology Working Group on Cardiac Arrhythmias, past President of the British Pacing & Electrophysiology Group and a past council member of the Royal College of Physicians. He is a former Trustee of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, a former Chairman of the Joint Cardiology Committee (Royal College of Physicians) and he is the past President of the British Cardiac Society. He is currently Convenor of Medicine, University of London, Trustee of the International Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology and President of the Arrhythmia Alliance. Professor Camm is recognised at home and abroad for his excellent research and teaching.
